Played around with Alias Sketchbook Pro this morning. It's a nice program, especially for drawing, and it's easy to use. I was able to make several sloppy sketches quickly without having to hit the help tab once. I have a few days left on the 15 day free trial download so I'll continue to play with it. I don't see myself buying the program though. 179 bucks is a lot of money and I'm not sure it's worth it.
With pricing in mind, I paid the 20 dollars to get the full version of Art Rage 2. Dishing out 20 bucks for a graphic program doesn't hurt too badly. I had fun sketching in Art Rage 2, but in no way is it as nice as Alias Sketchbook Pro. Follow this LINK for a good review on it.
In other news, I emailed an old writing partner of mine after finding her blog thanks to a Google search of the nickname she used when we collaborated on great stories together. I was all smiles when I got a reply from her. *D* is still crazy and funny, and oh how I've missed chatting it up with her. But she's not around during the day to yak with me on Yahoo IM... *sniff*... so we'll have to keep the lines of communication open with emails. Maybe we'll start writing together again...later. Right now I really need a brief hiatus from writing and role-playing. Gods, I used to have a bunch of good friends I chatted with every day but they're all gone now. No wonder I feel so lonely when I come online. :(
May is a busy month for me. It's filled with birthdays and anniversaries. The hubby has a vacation day tomorrow so we'll probably spend much of the day gift shopping. We have to take the dogs in for shots too. My girls DO NOT like the vet even though he's a real nice guy, but nonetheless, he's still a guy who always seems to be armed with a syringe. Can't blame them for being nervous around him.
