"Why, I'd hate to come off...ebil."

  • Dec. 5th, 2009 at 11:14 PM
Alright, hello again~!

I did this not too long ago, but I thought there's no harm in doing it again. =)

basics: my name's tenez [say it like teh-nay or tuh-nay, your choice. just don't say the zed. ^^;] I'm 16, living in Canada... Uh... Yes, I shall warn you that my journal involves a lot of real life talk and such, as opposed to fangirling all over the place. I am kind of a little bit too serious, so that, I guess, should be known too. but I'm loving, so I think that makes up for it. =)

manga: kashimashi, naruto, gyo!, monster, vampire knight (AHH. VAMPIRES.), black lagoon, fruits basket, and then basically anything that really intrigues me or has a kickass heroine, or gay undertones. ;DD

anime: revolutionary girl utena, sailor moon, gravitation

-looks up- Yeah. I know, kind of pathetic, but I'm not really an obsessive kind of person. ^^;

games: legend of zelda, Wet, super mario brothers, super paper mario, onimusha, mario kart & super smash brothers brawl.

music: tsuyoshi domoto, ayumi hamasaki, kinki kids, dir en grey, malice mizer, gackt, endlicheri☆endlicheri & 244 ENDLI-x, shiina ringo, Yeah Yeah Yeahs (ha, see, I listen to english music too. XD) vienna teng, ani difranco, tsushimamire

probably more, but everything up there would be my general-ness.

So yes! Don't be shy, drop me a line. We can capslock ourselves silly. ;DD

There will be a little delay in notifications/emails being sent out due to a backup in a processing queue, which should clear up in the next couple of hours. Otherwise, the site is operating just fine and there are no other outages or problems to report.

Hi there!

I've been on Livejournal for ever, like since 03, but took quite a hiatus and now i am back, and needing some new friends. I am 25 female (as if the name and picture didn't give that away) I am in a relationship. I am fun, random, love to laugh, and open...as well as open minded.

I'm looking for people who are not into the teeny-bopper stuff, ok let me rephrase that, not only into the teeny-bopper stuff =p I do enjoy intelligence but silly-ness is how we stay young, granted im still very young.......

I've met some really awesome people through this community, and since there has been a recent exodus to facebook, I figured it was time to see who was still a LJ loyalist :P

My journal is kind of a mixed bag. Sometimes its just random thoughts, sometimes I talk about the goings on in my life, sometimes I complain, and sometimes I ask for advice.

I just had a baby 2 months ago and she is the sweetest thing in the world, but her Dad gets on my nerves and thus, is the subject of most of my complaints. That and losing the baby weight. I have filters for all these things though, so if you're not interested and wish to opt out, that is all fine and dandy with me.

I usually only remove people that have ditched their journals for months and months, if it turns out I just can't bear reading your entries because you are spewing some hateful nonsense constantly that I just can't get with, or if you've been on my f list for over a year and have never left a comment. I don't require for you to comment every entry or even a lot. Hell, you don't have to comment at all if i know you're reading. But I am not into friend collectors.

I don't always comment but I always read.

I don't have any recommendations per se, but I tend to despise racists, judgmental asssholes, and homophobes.

I saw this movie. It gave me more info on the animals they are trying to engineer now. When will it end. I know as a consumer, I won't be buying it as much. I have no choice though with some foods. I do hope labeling comes about soon.

I would like to

add this person's MySpace page to my f-list in MySpace. I have sent along an add request. I hope they add me. It is more informative for me. There are new videos on it too that I haven't seen before.

Feeling memeish

  • Dec. 5th, 2009 at 8:55 PM
Man I feel like I haven't updated in ages, or read anything, or written anything. I've been living at work, which sucks. Everyone is really stressed and overworked and feeling as if their every move is being scrutinized. It probably is, our new boss being an insufferable douche rocket and all, but honestly who wants to hear about all that crap.

here's that epic meme that all the cool cats and kittens on my f-list have been doing lately )

Mommy loves me because I have Mr. Data eyes

In other news, I had a very productive day today. I cut my hair, put a good dent in the Christmas shopping list and lost two lbs :D

thank you

I took a walk to the corner and back. The lights on folks homes are lovely all snow covered. This may be out of focus as I was shivering. It's still snowing and very cold.

The snopuggy car.

Neighbors house.

A tree on the corner. It's a magnolia tree. It's the prettiest of all I think.

This post is for eat a cannoli

I have this link for you to see. It's about why the food you are eating isn't what you think it is. Why you haven't had real corn or other veggies in a while. A long while. I thought while youare posting about the "additives" in the food, and wondering abou tthe water supply and all, you will find this tops all of that. This is more than just additives and bad water, this is the worlds food supply and the new game of monopoly.

This one too, it shows the actual paperwork! If you have a couple hours to kill this is well worth it! This is what all the fussing is about!

I woke from...

  • Dec. 5th, 2009 at 4:36 PM
my little nap. I took out Biscuit and she looked at the snow like "What the hell is this?" She's not happy.
It beautiful! All the trees and every branch they have are covered in white. Some, particularly the pines are weighed down with it and hanging low. Later I will get the camera and go for a little walk. I will get pics of folks Christmas lights in the snow. I can't put any out here, but I can enjoy others. :)

Thank you for the card Maggie. It's so adorable! You had Biscuit's name on it too! LOL! The mail lady hates Biscuit. She put a warning in the mailbox that if Biscuit is outside when she delivers the mail, we won't get the mail. Biscuit probably would bite her though.
The little doggy on the front of the card sniffing out an ornament was so cute!

winter advisory

  • Dec. 5th, 2009 at 2:11 PM
I just stepped outside. Wow it's really coming down, and we are only on the fringe of it!

From the CBS 6 news site.

Weather Advisories: The first widespread snow of the season arrives this afternoon.
.
An area of low pressure passing east of the Carolinas this morning will track northeastward to the southeast of Cape Cod tonight. The Capital Region will be on the northwestern fringe of the storm with the heavy precipitation staying well to our south and east. However, a light snow will develop through this afternoon and continue through the evening. The snow will be steadiest south and east of Albany with the lightest snow falling across the Adirondacks and western Mohawk valley. Most locations stand a good chance at seeing a coating to an inch or two of snow with slightly higher amounts across the eastern Catskills, Taconics, Berkshires and Litchfield Hills.
.
This storm will be a quick hitter with the light snow and flurry activity ending by midnight.

I feel so much better.

They had the SPCA at the former Amsterdam Mall. So after driving to the SPCA oound and reading the sign that said "Closed we are at the mall." I drove to the former mall. I couldn't find them. I saw someone walking a dog through and followed that person. Yup, she led me right to it! I carried in a 20 pound bag of dog chow, two boxes of cat chow, a garbage bagfull of pet mats, all slung over my back and shoulder. Like Santa Puggy. Folks just stared at me. I asked for one of the workers, and one hustled right up to me. They were selling odds and ends, and only brought three cats, and one pit pup in a cat carrier to it. I made a Christmas card, and put a $15.00 check in it. I gave that to the lady, and all the food and mats. She was delighted.I wrote in the card "Thank you for taking care of the animals. You are doing the Lord's work."

I am happy.

I went to the store and I am now cooking macaroni with garlic roasted alfredo, mushrooms, and sweet sausage while the laundry washes. I got back just in time. It's beginning to snow. We are having our first measurable snow of the season today. :) As much as I bitch about shoveling, I kinda like it. It makes me hurt like hell, so therefore it keeps my ass in shape!
